Introduction About HOPE Project
NMCT: Native Medicare Charitable Trust has
been a leader in fostering and supporting the development of community-driven
approaches to HIV prevention, care and support, and impact mitigation. It has expertise in implementing care and support project,
reducing stigma and discrimination particularly among the PLHIV and affected
families including children affected by HIV.
Project Title:
“Health,
Opportunity & Positive Environment for the PLHIV and affected families’’-HOPE
Working Areas:
Eight
blocks in Coimbatore district (Annur, Karamadai, Madukkarai,
Periyanaickenpalayam, Sarkarsamakulam, Sultanpet, Sulur, Thondamuthur,
Coimbatore Corporation and Mettupalayam Municipality) and Duration of the Project: 4 Years (2015
- 2018).
Primary Stakeholders: (Adult PLHIV, Family members affected by HIV/AIDS (FAA) & Children infected / affected by HIV/AIDS (CIA/CAA)
