The Boehringer Ingelheim, from Germany team visited to HOPE project on 23.01.2018.Mr.A.S.Sankaranarayanan, Project Director HOPE Project welcomed the visitors and presented the HOPE project best practices. After that our HOPE project beneficiaries were shared their experiences and development happened because of the project support. It was translated by Ms.Lissy Retna, M & E officer, HOPE Project. The Boehringer Ingelheim team members were raised their doubts and questions, it was briefed by Mr.D.Selvadevan, Project Manager, HOPE Project. Finally Mr.C.Duraisamy, Trustee, NMCT gave vote of thanks.
On 24.01.2018, Mr.Srinivasan, Auditor and his team members visited the HOPE project and interacted with HOPE staff team at HOPE office, Kalappanaickenpalayam.
The Self Help Group leaders training was held at HOPE office on 20.09.2017. Mr.Selvadevan, Project Manager -NMCT-HOPE Project given welcome address as well as oriented the NMCT & HOPE Project activities as first session. Mr.Lakshmanansamy was the resource person of the SHG leaders training. He explained about the Why SHG is needed, Structure of the SHG, functions of SHG, how to conduct SHG meeting, the need for leadership in SHG and why self assessment is necessary. the training went with different methodology like group work, presentation, role play and sharing of experience in SHG. The participants shared their feedback of the training. The SHG leaders training came to concluded with Mrs.Sudhamaheswari, Social worker-NMCT-HOPE Project.
The HOPE project children were brought into OOTY as an exposure visit on 11.02.2018. They were seen Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Railway Station of Ooty. The Lions Club of udagmunt sponsored very good lunch and evening tea and snacks. The children felt very happy about the visit.
